Sioux Painted Deer Robe
This earth painted design represents an 1876 Sioux pony raid against Crows. The Sioux are represented by their long hair braids, while the Crow are painted with their typical top-knot of hair in the front. The six horse heads symbolizes "many horses." these were worn by the men of the tribe or hung in the rear of the tipi.Price: $995 Other robes of elk, deer and buffalo can be painted in many types of designs.
