Our hides and furs are carefully tanned to insure long life. Flat hides such as elk, moose, deer, cow and buffalo are trimmed around the edges to enhance appearance. Our furs are primarily tanned in a cased or tubed shape. Hides and Furs are priced by quality grading. Some pelts are very prime and in excellent condition, while others are shorter fur or hides may have several repaired nicks or skinning cuts in them. While this does not degrade the hide or furs, we offer them at lower prices. Ask us about scrap hides for flytying. Prices are subject to change so please call for current pricing. If you have hides or skins you would like to have tanned please take a look at our skin care instructions for tanning and our buffalo hide care for tanning section. |
